A family estate with documented roots dating back to 1652 under the name "Krieger". The current double name arose through the marriage of the parents of the present generation.
Run by Harald Krieger, with a transition to his children Katharina and Philipp Krieger. Katharina (trained at Hochschule Geisenheim) increasingly oversees the cellar and has built her own sparkling wine line; Philipp focuses mainly on the vineyards.
Estate size: approx. 33–40 hectares. The Pinot Meunier Rosé Brut is made by traditional bottle fermentation with around one year in large oak casks and roughly 60 months on the lees.
