The family has been based in Siebeldingen since the 16th/17th century. The house name honours Eduard Rebholz (1889–1966), who received the title "Ökonomierat" and spoke out against chaptalised, denatured wines of his era.

Since the mid-1990s run by Hansjörg Rebholz and his wife Birgit. Conversion to organic viticulture in 2005, biodynamics from 2006. Member of the VDP and the biodynamic association La Renaissance des Appellations.

Estate size: approx. 22–26 hectares, focus on Riesling and Pinot varieties, top site "Kastanienbusch". First base wines for sparkling wine produced in the late 1980s. Increasingly led by twin sons Hans and Valentin Rebholz, still in close consultation with their father.
